Piece three in "a Feast" Triptych

A feast is a spotlight look at a specific aspect of a fantasy narrative I formulated from reading books by Harlan Ellison, H.P. Lovecraft and Clive Barker. The main character, who symbolically and aesthetically represents me, is naked Letizia Antonia. She is a princess that has become a veritable slave to a trio of necromancers.

The head Necromancer Antone Nagash, is particularly infatuated with her. His obsession with attempting to force Letizia to love him makes him grow sadistic and aggressive. He is trapped in a cycle of brutally, murdering Letizia in sexual epitaph. Tragic moments heightened by the violence.

He has been brutally murdering her and resurrecting her to begin his courting anew for over one hundred years. This is the last time. The paintings take place during the final feast. This time he will dismember her, chop her body into bits and cook it into a grand stew. This is the only way he will never be tempted to raise her bones from death to life, no matter how unnatural and blasphemous.
